I offer 50 minute sessions for individuals at $200/hr out of pocket (not through insurance)
I believe therapy should be accessible, feel free to inquire about available sliding scale slots.
-
I am currently an in-network provider for the following plans:
Medi-Cal
Medicare (Part B)
AllOne Health EAP
Empathia EAP
If you are using these benefits, please provide your insurance information during our initial consultation so I can verify your coverage and any applicable copayments.
-
For all other insurance providers, I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means you are responsible for the full fee at the time of service.
However, many PPO insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that reimburse a portion of your therapy costs. Upon request, I can provide you with a Superbill (a detailed monthly medical receipt). You can submit this document to your insurance company to seek reimbursement directly from them.
Pro Tip: I recommend calling your insurance provider before our first session and asking: "Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits, and what is my deductible for those services?"

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
I will provide this estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your first scheduled service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
